With more than 50 years in the business we are a long-standing operation with a proven track record in supporting various industries today.
We operate two production facilities located in Lahat, Perak and Kemaman, Terrengganu with a total combined capacity of approximately 120,000 ECU per annum.
As the largest chlor-alkali producer in Malaysia, our core products are used across a wide range of industries, including paper manufacturing, textiles, detergents, electronics, and water treatment applications.
Heritage & Milestones

Incorporation of Malay-Sino Chemical Industries Sdn Bhd (MSCI).

MSCI commences its chlor-alkali manufacturing operations in Lahat incorporating mercury cell technology.

Batu Kawan Berhad (BKB) becomes major shareholder in MSCI.

MSCI established its first methyl chloride plant with a capacity of 3,600 MT/annum.

MSCI upgraded to membrane cell technology (18,000 ECU per annum).
